One adapter, three connectors - connect a BNC generator to any coil.
Most frequency generators, including Spooky2 generators and similar BNC-output units, send their signal through a BNC socket. Many coils and coil modules - including ours - use 4 mm banana leads or a 3.5 mm audio plug instead. This universal adapter closes that gap: the generator plugs into the BNC socket on top, your coil connects to the gold binding posts or the AUX jack underneath.
Works with
- Spooky2 generators and other generators with BNC outputs
- Aplicum coil modules and radionics devices, including all SWCC models
- Any coil, plate or device with 4 mm banana or 3.5 mm inputs
Three connectors
- BNC socket (top) - from the generator
- 4 mm gold binding posts, red / black - banana plugs, bare wire or spade terminals
- 3.5 mm audio jack - between the posts, for AUX cables
Simple and passive
There is nothing inside to power or set up. The connectors are wired directly together: the BNC centre pin goes to the red post and the jack tip, the BNC shield to the black post and the jack sleeve. What comes out of the generator goes straight to the coil, unchanged - and the adapter works the other way round too. With a two-channel generator, use one adapter per channel.
Instructions included
Every adapter comes with step-by-step instructions (PDF): connecting the generator, choosing banana or AUX, polarity and tips.
Built in our workshop
We design the small circuit board ourselves, fit the connectors by hand and print the textured housing in-house.
